I'm glad you're here

Exciting news! In 2016, I embarked on a journey as a novelist, and since then, I've poured my heart into writing cinematic and heartbreaking bookclub fiction. With four more novels under my belt, I’m thrilled to announce that in 2026, I will finally share latest work—Flying Tigers. Join me as I unveil this new chapter in writing adventure!

FLYING TIGERS

By: Kaylee Errecaborde

When Jamie Dawson crashes his father’s biplane in the rugged hills outside of pre-war Montana, he never expects to meet Ada Tate, a scrappy, self-reliant girl with a dangerous past. For Jamie, summer is a rebellion; for Ada, it’s survival.

Pre-war Bozeman, 1940. Jamie Dawson has everything—a wealthy family, a scholarship to run track at Cornell, and a future carved from privilege. But when he crashes his father’s biplane in the hills near Bozeman, he never expects to meet Ada Tate, ‘the ghost from the Gallatin,’ a scrappy, self-reliant girl who has survived alone in the hills. Ada knows how to stay hidden—especially from people like Jamie. But when he needs help rebuilding the plane, she sees her chance to escape the danger that haunts her.

Together, they form an uneasy alliance, calling themselves the “Flying Tigers.” As they work in secret toward a wild goal—competing in a high-stakes regional airshow—their fragile friendship kindles something deeper. For Jamie, summer is a rebellion, a chance to prove he’s brave enough for war. For Ada, it’s survival, a chance to escape the life that’s caged her.

But on the eve of the airshow, a desperate crime shatters their plans and threatens everything they’ve built. When Ada is charged with murder, only Jamie holds the truth. But the truth comes at a cost: protect the girl who gave him his wings, or safeguard the future he was born to claim, the war he’s hell-bent to fly in.

Lush, haunting, and emotionally charged, Flying Tigers is a story of loyalty and longing, of friendship born in the shadows, and the courage it takes to chase the light
